Quests

The tradeskill questlines should lead you through the following areas to meet the following questgivers (you aren't necessarily forced to do them in exactly this order in all cases):

Fina's Retreat

Matthew (leads to Mira) Mira (leads to Ruffin and then back to Matthew) Ruffin Misa (leads to Arjon) Arjon (leads to Finnegan) Finnegan (points you to Fenwick) Thurgadin

Fenwick (points to Oomba) Oomba Aggi (leads to Capru) Eirik (leads to Alfrig) Alfrig (leads to Tora) Mikk - daily faction missions (once you have finished Tora's quests) NOTE: Mikk is not yet available, he will appear once QA confirms the Coldain Prayer Shawl is ready for public consumption - still fixing a few bugs. Great Divide outside Thurgadin

Tora *this ultimately leads to the Coldain Prayer Shawl HQ Capru *this leads in to the griffon mount quest for tradeskillers - there are a couple bugs with this which should be fixed first thing next week. Coldain Prayer Shawl

You can NOT get this quest currently, it will be available next week but you will not be able to progress past the first couple of steps until you gain ally faction with Thurgadin Forgemasters, which will require Mikk to be put in game. This quest has some nice lore all through it, for the lore junkies, and explains a lot of what happened to the coldain of Thurgadin since the original Coldain Prayer Shawl in EQ1, through the long ring wars, and till the present time. No doubt the quest will be too easy to please some and too lengthy to please others, but I hope that overall it is an interesting story, and makes you the player feel important and as if you've made a real difference to the coldain. To finish it requires: completion of most of the tradeskill quests in Velious, ally faction with Thurgadin, a number of uncommon harvests, participation of all 9 tradeskill classes, and there is one step that you can do yourself if you are a high level tinkerer, but otherwise you will need help from a tinkerer also. Signature quest

I hope to have time to add a signature quest also, but haven't had time so far. If time permits, it will be added later in the month. If not, probably for GU60. It will require having completed A Gathering Obsession, but my lips are sealed beyond that. There is currently no tradeskill content in the Eastern Wastes as this is a very dangerous area.

Factions

Crafters can earn favour with three factions at the moment:

Forgemasters of Thurgadin Pirates of Iceclad Othmir Artisans Currently it is only possible to reach ally faction with the Forgemasters, the other two factions don't actually reward anything at this point.

The forgemasters are the main faction for crafters in this expansion. You will need ally faction before you can progress beyond the first couple of steps of the Coldain Prayer Shawl. The Forgemasters are where you will be able to purchase recipes for some nice items to make from zone drops (some are there now, but more are still coming).

Harvests

Harvests are currently sparce in velious; the icy climate does not lend itself to a lot of plants and things. As mentioned at fan faire there are only quest harvests here, and currently only in the Great Divide. Look for iceclad swordfish and iceclad cutlassfish around the coastal areas, and frosty dens around the land may give you both brontotherium meat and (less commonly) molkor hide. There will also be some gem harvests coming soon, these will be used for crafting items dropped in dungeons.

Recipes

Armorers and tailors who start on the Coldain Prayer Shawl quest should find they get some nice appearance armor recipes. Weaponsmiths will also be getting some appearance weapons, these are not yet in game but coming soon. Provisioners should be getting some heirloom stat recipes craftable in stacks, not yet in game but also coming soon. There are a few house items that you can acquire through quest recipes already, but carpenters will be getting some additional furniture recipes also. These are not yet in game since I've been waiting for the art team to finish up all the little decoration objects they're still adding, more house items will trickle in (both to carpenters and for general rewards all over the place) over the course of this month. The Forgemasters faction merchant Donall Ironarm will sell most of these recipes; some are there already, and more are coming.

Серия летающего маунта

This is not a walkthrough for the quests, just a simple order of quests you gotta do to actually unlock the quest that will get you the flying mount.

Go to Goahmari Village, speak with Billie, do his quest line, its either 2 or 3 quests, all easily done. Once completed, go and speak with Gyatso, he will ask you to also complete 2 or 3 quests. Once completed, he will let you access the cave that you see right in front of him. Go inside and run to the bottom, speak with Norbu. Do his quest line, 2-3 quests. Once completed, you will get the mount.

Now that you have the mount you will be asked to take care of it, to do this, you click on the griffon, choose a quest that you would like to do. Once completed, you wont be able to do one again before the next day (1 quest per day, earth time). Once done you will have your flying mount.

Thats it. All NPC's needed can be found in the village.
