This template is for Contributors/editors who wish to create or update an article about a Monster.

Changes

  • 1 apr 2008 - uberfuzzy: changing mzone -> zone (to be inline with other templates)
  • 9 jan 2008 - uberfuzzy: minor reformating and cat fix's
  • 12 Sept 2007 - Uberfuzzy: recoded template to use wikitable for better formatting and {{#if:}}'ing

Parameters

iname Name of Image to display at right, default is the Page Name + .jpg
idesc caption for the image
type see Monster Type for valid types, If left blank NO link will be made for type category
race see Monster Race for races. if unknown, try to get a picture.If left blank NO link will be made for race category
levellow If not blank this is the low end of a range of values for the level of this mob.
levellowmod The arrows that follow the lower level, such as vvv, vv, v, ^, ^^, or ^^^
level (REQUIRED) Level of this encounter. Numbers ONLY!!! level must always be a single number only, and should always be the highest level this mob has been seen at in the wild. See levelmod and levellow
levelmod The arrows that follow the level, such as vvv, vv, v, ^, ^^, or ^^^
diff difficulty of the encounter. Valid values are Solo, Heroic, Epic x2, Epic x3 or Epic x4. (Default:Solo)
class (OPTIONAL) If defined, this is the Archetype, Class or Sub-class of the monster
group (OPTIONAL) If defined, this is the social grouping of the monster (such as Zygomyd, or Underpaw Gnolls). Group is different but similar to Faction, but identifies a group that does not have an affect on a faction.
agro (OPTIONAL) If not blank, this monster will be labeled as Aggressive
social (OPTIONAL) If not blank, this monster will be labeled as Social, meaning it will add if a monster of its group or faction is attacked within its agro range.
zone (REQUIRED) Zone (no []'s) where this monster can be found. This is the zone he will be listed under. IF this monster can be found in more than one zone create a Disambiguation page and list links to the different versions for this mob. i.e. Crushbone centurion is a disambiguation page which points to Crushbone centurion (GFay) and Crushbone centurion (CBK).create a disambiguation page, as described above for zone. See also: Category:Zones
patch Expansion, Adventure Pack or LU# this monster was introduced in. (Default:Shattered Lands). See also: Category:Updates and it's sub-categories.
trauma If not blank, the Trauma DOT icon will be displayed, indicating this monster has been known to use DOTs of this type.
arcane If not blank, the Arcane DOT icon will be displayed, indicating this monster has been known to use DOTs of this type.
noxious If not blank, the Noxious DOT icon will be displayed, indicating this monster has been known to use DOTs of this type.
elemental If not blank, the Elemental DOT icon will be displayed, indicating this monster has been known to use DOTs of this type.
location Description of where this monster can be found. Include links as needed.
mapref the /loc co-ordinates where this monster can most often be found. Close is good enough. Do not surround with ()'s
uid EQ2MAP's Unique ID
