1. Speak with Vhizz Frugrin inside the Frugrin Observatory in Steamfont Mountains ( -957, 156, 740 ) /waypoint -957, 156, 740 .
2. He requires a lens:
   1. Travel to Runnyeye in The Enchanted Lands.
   2. Enter instanced zone the The Chamber of Rulgax ( 180, -17, 191 ) /waypoint 180, -17, 191 and kill Lord Rulgax (Level 43^^^).
   3. Return to Vhizz Frugrin in Steamfont Mountains.
3. Next, he needs 3 catalysts:
   1. Harvest heavy mineral water in the Steamfont Mountains.
      • This is in the center of the geyser at ( -588, 70, 1589 ) /waypoint -588, 70, 1589  in the Steamfont Wetlands.
        • Note: You may need to harvest this multiple times until you get the mineral water. Most of the time you will only harvest a "steam vent."
   2. Harvest ice crystals from Icespire Summit in Everfrost.
      • Travel to the end of the zone and clear the room. Level 48 - 49^^^ mobs, quite hard for the level. Low 50's players may need assistance. At 58 the entire zone was grey. The statue is at ( -53, 76, -623 ) /waypoint -52.52, 75.89, -623.22. The mobs guarding the statue will attack, even if they are grey enough to otherwise be non-aggro. Then harvest the crystals at the base of the statue.
      • NOTE: Icespire Summit is a Raid x2 zone, and has a level 44 Epic x2 halfway through. It is not required to kill it, but it will be hostile if you are below level 55.
   3. Harvest molten crystal from Lavastorm. Somewhere on the small island in the center of the Tyrock Cleaver at the ruined Ulteran Spire. ( -412, -31, -580 ) /waypoint -412, -31, -580
   4. Return to Vhizz Frugrin in Steamfont Mountains.
4. Get the key to the door Vhizz saw from a kobold that has been run off by his fellows.
   1. Speak to a Grikbar outcast, a kobold in Steamfont Mountains at ( -1195, 96, 1306 ) /waypoint -1195, 96, 1306 . To understand him, you need to speak Serilian (the kobold language), which you learn by completing the Language quest Language of the Dust.
   2. Kill 3 named kobolds in Steamfont Mountains all are ^^^ heroics and have a 10-15 minute respawn (PH or named)
      • Scout Pechyooka lvl 47^^^ - Roams around ( -980, 71, 1270 ) /waypoint -980, 71, 1270  May possibly be always up.
      • Slave Pechmooka lvl 45^^^ - In the Mines of Meldrath (POI area, not the instance), within the greater cavern where Meldrath the Iron Lich roams. ( -1394, 85, 1059 ) /waypoint -1394, 85, 1059  Pechmooka's placeholder is an enslaved Grikbar. This can be a long camp (possibly up to 2 hours).
      • Digmaster Pechpooka lvl 40^^^ - In Grikbar Crater. ( -109, 43, 1183 ) /waypoint -109, 43, 1183  The placeholder is a Grikbar overseer which can spawn at any of the flags in the crater. This also has the potential to be a long camp (up to 2 hours).
   3. Return to the Grikbar outcast in Steamfont Mountains ( -1195, 96, 1306 ) /waypoint -1195, 96, 1306  for the key.
5. Enter King Grikbar's Caverns from the Grikbar Crater in Steamfont Mountains ( -70, 80, 1294 ) /waypoint -70, 80, 1294 . The entrance is in the Lair of the Rex, behind the banner. The trash mobs are level 49 & 50^^^ along with some 49 & 50^ groupings of 3.
6. Kill King Grikbar, the Scourge of Steamfont for the Staff of the Observers. (Touch his food bowl to make him attackable)
   • WARNING: At 50% health, the king will call the zone to him, so clear before you engage.
